Welcome to the Oklahoma Steam Threshing & Gas Engine Association (OST&GEA).
We are proud to be one of Oklahoma’s premier heritage organizations, dedicated to preserving and celebrating rural farm life and the machinery that helped build it.
Our members share a passion for restoring, operating, and exhibiting antique farm equipment. While our core focus includes steam engines, gas tractors, and gas engines, our interests extend far beyond. From hands-on demonstrations to educational displays, there is always something happening within our organization.
Our annual show, held in Pawnee, Oklahoma on the first Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in May, is the highlight of our year. But our activities don’t stop there. OST&GEA proudly participates in community events across the region, including Christmas parades, appearances at the Oklahoma State Capitol, and exhibitions at shows such as Route 66 Flywheelers in Catoosa, Oklahoma; Wilson County Old Iron Days in Fredonia, Kansas; the Major County Historical Society Threshing Bee in Fairview, Oklahoma; and many others. We have also been honored to participate in the Tulsa State Fair in multiple years.
We invite you to explore our website and see the camaraderie, craftsmanship, and tradition that define OST&GEA. You don’t need to own equipment to become a member. All that’s required is an interest in history, a willingness to learn, and the enthusiasm to be part of a group that values teamwork and fellowship.
Come join us, share in the tradition, and help keep the past alive for future generations.
